I was priviledged to be a part of Lola Kate's birthday on 11.11.11! Momma had a wonderful delivery of about 2 or 3 pushes. I actually arrived after 11 a.m. and was pulling out of the hospital at 12:56! Things happened really quick. This beautiful baby girl entered with a strong set of lungs and sweet pink cheeks! Congrats to Mom, Dad, and Big Brother! Thank you for sharing your day with me!

Miss Daniel's Day
What an honor to attend the birth of any baby, but when it is family it just means so much. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law (not the same sister-in-law as in March!) welcomed their first baby girl into the family September 29th. She has a sweet big brother to show her the ropes, and I am thrilled to post Miss Daniel's video. Thank you Justin and Val!

Miss Daniel's Arrival
I'm thrilled to post this preview of Little Miss Daniel. She arrived Thursday at 9 p.m. in a fury. Such a sweet little girl - all 6 lbs. 12 oz. of her! I just wanted to share a quick preview of some of her story.

Miss Daniel's Countdown
It's been a while and I've been busy, it just hasn't been so baby related so I've not put things on the blog. I may start another page within the blog to show some work I've done of things other than bellies and births. I got the opportunity to take some photos of my blossoming sister in law (not the one you just saw the birth of this year! I have 2! And we are being blessed with babies!) this month, so I wanted to share her sweet belly while we wait on pins and needles for Little Miss Daniel.

Miss Gray, rewound
Now that Miss Gray's birth photos are finished, I had to share them, even though you've already seen what a doll she is. I was so priviledged to get to document her birth, and it was a blessing to me! Miss Gray is my second niece! My brother and sister in law now have a brood of 3. I love seeing babies born, but when you are the auntie, it's extra special!

Miss Gray
So her birth is not quite done, but I can't resist posting some faves from my afternoon with Miss Gray and her momma. Big Bro and Big Sis were napping so we had some quiet time and just took it easy napping and nursing. Enjoy! (5 days old)

Can you tell I was a little partial to that big pink flower?!

What a sweet smiley girl!

Miss Frackelton
I was honored to be a part of Miss Frackelton's birth the day before Valentine's Day. I spent some time with Mom and Dad and big sis that morning at home, and after mom had some rest time, joined them at the hospital around 4:30 p.m. Momma Frackelton did an awesome job sticking with her birth plan and doing what was best for her and baby girl Frackelton. I am so awed at these strong mommas and witnessing birth from a whole new perspective. I tear or cry everytime a new baby cries, and marvel at how complete and perfect they are. Thank you Frackelton's for sharing this day with me!
Miss Summers
What an exciting event! I had waited on pins and needles - like a nervous auntie or godmother - to get the call that it was go time. Miss Summers mom was staying at home as long as possible with her husband and other 6 children before coming to the hospital to meet this new baby girl - who was the tie breaker by the way. Watching this lady go through this amazing part of life was such a blessing. She got to the hospital at 10 til 8, and Miss Summers made her arrival at 8:09 p.m. 20 minute job. Awesome. She was amazing and I loved being a part!

Begin at the Beginning
What an exciting endeavor this is proving to be! I have been able to be a witness to the most miraculous part of life and document it for a mom that was busy at work during that time. Thank you to the moms that have included me in their deliveries, and I am looking forward to sharing this service with other mothers who desire that special documentation.
